Attractions
West Cumbria provides a respite from the over-frequented 'honey
pot' towns of the central Lake District.
Here roads are uncongested by hoards of coaches and day-trippers
and the life-style is unhurried.
Seascale
has a clean, safe beach, a golf course and is centrally placed between
the picturesque harbour town of Whitehaven, the historic castle
and gardens of Muncaster, the relaxing estuary village of Ravenglass
with its narrow-gauge railway to the valley hamlet of Boot, and
the glorious walkers valley of Wasdale where access can be gained
to the fells of Great Gable and the Scafell range.
